THE SHAMOUN BLOG

27 October 2015
Place: Auckland

We are nearing the end of our very busy yard period. We have been blessed with many successful outcomes on the many jobs undertaken. There are still a few in play which we hope to finish up in the next couple of weeks.

The most impactful job is surely our brand spanking new teak deck. It looks incredible, according to all the compliments we’ve had! We would like to say a massive thank-you to all the guys at Marine Dynamics for all the long hours and amazing work! Shamoun looks 10 years younger now!

Our favorite friends from Sanfirden are also hard at work on our engines doing a few small tweaks. We have a few sea trials planned for the upcoming week.

We have some brand new custom made bed linens on the way too, so exciting times in all departments.

October signaled Breast cancer awareness month, for which the Shamouners donned our Fushia Pink shirts in support every Friday. We also made a small but considerate money donation to the cause.

We now slowly begin the count down to the Christmas period and then all the fun festivities that 2016 brings, including the Millennium Cup Race.

Until next time!

Kind Regards,
The Shamoun Team
